Some Onewheel repairs and upgrades require access to internal diagnostic and calibration tools that are normally restricted.

For supported models, controller reprogramming can restore access to Factory Mode, allowing riders to perform important maintenance tasks such as calibrating level, pairing replacement components, and clearing certain system errors.

FixMyPEV offers a controller reprogramming service for compatible Onewheel models to expand diagnostic, maintenance, and repair capabilities.

IMPORTANT: This service only modifies supported controller firmware to enable access to diagnostic and maintenance tools. FixMyPEV does not modify riding performance or unlock speed restrictions.

Not Supported

  • Unsupported or unidentified Onewheel models
  • Controllers that are water damaged, electrically damaged, or otherwise non-functional
  • Controllers with damaged or unusable programming pads
  • Requests involving full boards instead of the required parts/modules

Service Requirements

  • GT, Pint, and Pint X require shipment of the controller PCB only
  • GT S-Series and XR Classic require both the controller module and battery module
  • Customers are responsible for safely removing and shipping the required parts
  • Additional fees may apply if extra disassembly or cleanup is required
